Journey Nichole Herrod, daughter of Maurio L. Herrod, Sr. and Jasmyn N. Maxwell of Peoria, was born at 12:22 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 and passed away 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She is survived by her parents; maternal grandparents, Tamara and Clarence Hutt of Peoria; paternal grandparents, Verna and Walter Herrod, Sr. of Peoria; uncles, Tyrone Maxwell, Jerrod Hobbs and Walter (Adrienne) Herrod, Jr., all of Peoria; aunt, Reneece (Marcus) Washington of Peoria; maternal great grandmothers, Audrey Hutt of Peoria and Betty Maxwell of Louisiana, MO; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Herrod of Peoria; and a host of extended family. Journey was preceded in death by her brother, Maurio L. Herrod, Jr.
Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria, with Elder Martin Johnson, of New Beginnings Ministries of Peoria, officiating.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 428 West McClure Avenue, in Peoria.
